ABOUT
"Ghost Adventures" is an American paranormal television reality show airing on the Travel Channel, that premiered on October 17th 2008. It's about three ghost hunters, Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin (the Ghost Adventures Crew, or GAC), investigating reportedly haunted locations throughout USA and overseas.
Their modus operandi consists of deep researches in the history of the place - especially former prisons, abandoned hospitals, accommodation facilities and ancient places - then being locked down inside the building and investigating it all the night long using cutting-edge devices and eccentric approaches.
Zak is lead investigator, host and narrator, Nick is his sidekick and he helps him in the post-production stage, Aaron was just a camera operator at first but he later became investigator. Some year ago audio/video techs Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley joined their team.
Nick is no longer part of the show since November 2014, he appeared in only four episodes of the tenth season before departing. Nevertheless, he will keep the title of co-founder of the show, sharing it with Zak.

Nick is officially no longer a member of the crew since November 2014, that's why he is present only in four investigations of Season 10. He will always be the co-founder of the show along with Zak, though.
The famous first opening, narrated by Zak, goes:
“My name is Zak Bagans. I’ve never believed in ghosts until I came face to face with one. So I set out on a quest to capture what I once saw onto video. With no big camera crews following us around, I am joined only by my fellow investigator Nick Groff and our equipment tech Aaron Goodwin. The three of us will travel to the some of most highly active paranormal locations, where we will spend an entire night, being locked down from dusk until dawn. Raw. Extreme. These are our Ghost Adventures.”
Then the new opening goes:
“There are things in this world that we will never fully understand. We want answers. We have worked years to build our credibility. Our reputation. Working alongside the most renowed professionals on the field. Capturing groundbreaking proof of the paranormal. This is our evidence. Our Ghost Adventures.”
CHE COS'E'
"Ghost Adventures" è un programma televisivo americano sul paranormale in onda sul canale Travel Channel, e che ha esordito il 17 Ottobre 2008. Mostra le indagini di tre cacciatori di fantasmi, Zak Bagans, Nick Groff e Aaron Goodwin (la Ghost Adventures Crew, o GAC) in luoghi notoriamente infestati, sia negli Stati Uniti che all'estero.
Il loro modus operandi consiste nel fare ricerche approfondite sulla storia del posto - soprattutto ex prigioni, ospedali abbandonati, strutture ricettive
ed edifici più antichi - per poi farsi rinchiudere nell'edificio, effettuando quello che loro chiamano lockdown, indagando per tutta la notte con l'utilizzo di attrezzature tecniche
tra le più avanzate e di approcci originali e alquanto produttivi.
Zak ricopre i ruoli di investigatore capo, conduttore e voce fuori campo, Nick è la sua spalla e lo aiuta anche nella post-produzione, Aaron all'inizio era
solo un cameraman ma da molto tempo è diventato investigatore a tutti gli effetti. Da qualche anno vengono anche aiutati dai tecnici audio/video Billy Tolley e Jay Wasley.
Nuove stagioni vengono trasmesse su Travel Channel ogni anno (qui le liste complete degli episodi).
Quelle in lingua italiana sono state trasmesse sul canale Sky AXN Sci-Fi prima che chiudesse (per accedere agli episodi, cliccare qui) e sul canale DMAX.
Nick non fa più ufficialmente parte della crew dal novembre 2014, infatti durante la decima stagione è presente solo in quattro indagini. Manterrà per sempre, però, il titolo di co-fondatore del programma insieme a Zak.
La famosa intro delle prime stagioni, narrata da Zak, recita così:
"Mi chiamo Zak Bagans. Non credevo ai fantasmi finché non ho avuto un incontro ravvicinato. Così è cominciata la mia ricerca per catturare su
video ciò che avevo visto. Siamo una piccola squadra di investigatori dell'occulto. Con me ci sono i miei amici cameraman Nick Groff e Aaron Goodwin. Noi tre sceglieremo alcuni
luoghi dove sono stati segnalati fenomeni paranormali. Trascorreremo all'interno di questi luoghi tutta la notte, dal tramonto all'alba. Ore dure. Estreme. Queste sono le nostre
avventure coi fantasmi".

La nuova recita così:
